One year after having the Crossfire system installed, that system saved my life. It was raining that night and water leaked around our window AC unit into the wall socket. This caused a short and started a fire in the corner of my sofa. The Crossfire alarms went off. The alarms worked so quickly that we were able to get up in time not only to save our lives, but I was able to put the fire out with less than $2,000 worth of damage. The fire department came and told us that without the alarms we had our mobile home would have most likely burned down in less than ten minutes taking our lives with it.
